Berggren Architects realizes the great freedom of design potential when accepting the challenge of creating a completely new structure. Whether the new structure is independent of other facilities, or a new addition, we strive to design in way that is respectful to the existing environment of the community.
We begin our process by working with clients to develop a program that meets their specific needs. In some instances, creating a master plan and breaking the project down into independent phases can allow clients to prioritize and reach their critical needs first. As a project takes form, we generate recommendations for materials that match with the long-term goals for serviceability and maintenance. Specifying quality materials that meets life-cycle cost goals is a priority to the firm as we expect our new construction to be built to last.
