Architectural Heritage since 1977. We focus on identifying the character

Architectural
Assessments and Reports
Berggren Architects
are recommended by Heritage Conservation for assessment of museums
in historic structure as part of their
Conservation
Assessment Program Grants. We provide assessments of structures for
compliance with the American’s with Disabilities Act following
the reporting checklist recommended by the U.S. Department of Justice.
We assess existing structures for potential energy conservation improvements
following the requirements of the Nebraska Energy Office’s
revolving loan fund program.
Berggren Architects’ reports are tailored to your needs to
assure you of the most beneficial information. We provide condition
assessment reports and with specialized consultants, create Historic
Structures Reports following the National Park Service’s requirements
for these documents.

Architectural
Programming and Planning
Berggren Architects
document the needs of our Clients to establish the Programs for
their projects. Programs are the
basis from which
a Plan can be created to assure our Clients that their projects are
attainable. We frequently analyze our Client’s space needs
to optimize their use of historic structures. The Program also identifies
the juxtaposition of critical tasks and guides our designs for adaptive
re-use, restoration, and/or expansion of existing facilities.
Berggren Architects offers Planning as a path to follow that help
our Clients to achieve their ultimate goal within their budget. Planning
can be as simple as a list of priorities but frequently encompasses
potential alternatives as a response to uncertain future development.
